At Xquisite Productions we have a genuine passion for ensuring our Corporate Social Responsibility is to the highest of standards and reflective of the clients we service. We believe in fostering a culture of sustainable, inclusive and diverse experiential productions through a variety of mechanisms. We are already accredited with the latest ISO standards, and are holders of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 20121 / ISO 45001.

The below just highlights some of the activity already undertaken by Xquisite Productions and we are continually developing and introducing new initiatives to galvanise our efforts in CSR.

SUSTAINABILITY

We have developed our own in-house programme dedicated to driving sustainability. Not just in terms of sustainable productions but creating a more sustainable organisation as whole. Our programme ‘Project Oxygen’ seeks to enable Xquisite to deliver impactful and environmentally sustainable productions from concept through to campaign. In collaboration with our partners, innovation remains at the very vanguard of this effort. As such, ‘Project Oxygen’ is constructed around four key pillars:

People & Culture

We seek to not only inform and influence internal audiences, but also external. From the very genesis of any production the question of “What happens at the end of the production?” is asked. This is often overlooked but is paramount in building sustainable productions. We are not afraid to ask these questions and in partnership with our clients, drive a more environmentally friendly solution for all.

Production & Waste

We are a zero-landfill company and have taken additional measures to reduce all production waste from any builds. We have formalised ‘Memorandum of Understandings’ with local schools and state institutions which offer a guaranteed chain of custody for any material offcuts or postproduction left-overs. We will also provide additional PR/photographs for your brand to show the social impact benefits that this can provide.

Supply Chain

As we offer a full in-house production capability, we can provide assurance in our materials and supply chains. Our supply partners are chosen carefully, vetted and regularly reviewed to ensure we have compliance. Raw materials for production are always ethically and sustainably sourced, primarily from UK manufacturers. We use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified timber in all productions. Our suppliers are expected to uphold our values and standards, and this is clearly communicated to all. Our Operations team lead the way in policing this standard and ensuring compliance.

Measurement & Reporting

We are able to offer a CO2 footprint report for all productions and activations, along with the end state for all materials used postproduction. This gives you the opportunity to offset via a mechanism of your choosing whilst clearly seeing what has happened to your production at the end of its life. Currently the carbon footprint is used to systematically measure and analyse the greenhouse gas emissions of a specific production/activation as a whole. In addition to CO2, the footprinting also factors-in other greenhouse gases, such as methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O). The effect of these gases is converted into CO2 equivalents (CO2e, greenhouse potential for a period of 100 years). The UN lists 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which are globally published and accepted. This is our logical start point, although some certainly prove a challenge to measure. We remain committed to developing our methodology.

More information on Project OXYGEN is available on request and we are pleased to have spoken on several panels at cross-industry events over the past couple of years as we seek to champion this way of working collaboratively. Afterall, we all share the same planet!

An independent body founded by events professionals and industry leaders, isla is an action-driven network, that brings together expertise from across the entire events sector and empowers confidence, knowledge, and resources needed to confidently and consistently deliver sustainable events.

We have our own internal mentoring programme and are pleased to support Fast Forward 15, a not-for-profit mentoring programme across the events and marketing industry designed to champion Women in Leadership career development.

We ensure our policies reflect our values for diversity, equity and inclusion and we embed these values in all we do from recruitment onwards. By signing the Armed Forces Covenant we have committed to guaranteeing all veterans an interview, supporting employees who are reserve forces and actively recognising the veteran affinity group.

We are committed to providing great working practices, resources and training. We are also committed to ensuring our people reflect the communities and clients we service. Through joining the governments Kickstarter Programme, we have been able to drive social mobility through recruiting 16-24yr olds on universal credit and given them an entry point into our industry, further supported by mentoring and development from our leadership team.

We are determined to keep challenging ourselves to do more to build a workplace – and society – that works for all. We are current- ly driving our ISO 30415 accreditation and remain active and engaged in doing all we can in this critical area.
